1 Children
Because of the therapeutic and personal nature of massage, it is my policy that children are not allowed in the therapy room during your massage. They also can not be left unsupervised in the waiting area during your massage unless they are over 15 years of age.

2 Cancellation Policy
My time is valuable and so is yours. If you are late for your appointment, you lose that time. In turn, I promise to honor our appointments, and be on time as well.

Kindly give 24 hours notice of cancellation or the full fee will be charged.

*This policy also applies to gift certificates and bundles. If the appointment was booked under a gift certificate or bundle, it will be voided in lieu of the fee.

To avoid the cancellation fee, you may send someone in your place. Regardless of the situation, please call as soon as you can.

3 No-Shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a no-show. They will be charged for their missed appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

4 Packages
When you buy a package of time with me, I commit to having enough time to serve you. That affects how many clients I am able to take on. If you want to make sure my massage style is right for you, I suggest booking an hour to start. If you end up wanting a package or bundle, I’ll apply the fee for that hours towards the total price.

5 Payment
Payment is due at time of service. Cash, checks, and cards are accepted.

6 Tips
Tips are gratefully accepted but never expected. A 20% gratuity is common in return for a session that meets or exceeds your expectations.

7 Satisfaction Guaranteed
I am so confident that you’ll feel your session was worth what you paid that I’m offering a unique 100% guarantee you’ll be happy or you don’t pay.

This requires open communication. During your session be sure to communicate as to how things are going and if any changes need to be made.
*** If you wait till the end of the session to ask for something different, the guarantee may not apply. This guarantee applies to individual sessions and does not apply to our massage packages.

8 Massage Packages & Gift Certificates may not be refunded. However, a gift certificate or package may be transferred to another person (friend, family).

9 Environment
My massage studio is extremely quiet. As such, a white noise machine and music will be playing during your session.

11 Booking Procedure
Massages are by appointment only.
(Scheduled between 10 am and 7 pm, Monday-Saturday)
Online booking must be done a minimum of 2 hours in advance. To schedule your massage, please call (520) 247-3362or Book Online When you book your appointment, be ready to tell me the following:

1- What your goals are for your session
2- If you’ve had any recent injuries or surgeries
3- Current medications
4- Type & Length of session (30 min, 60 min or 90 min) (Swedish, Rehab or Deep Tissue)
6- Are you pregnant?

12 Draping is NOT optional. All clients are draped appropriately.

13 Arete Massage Tucson has the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason

Reasons one might be refused:

  • Poor hygiene
  • Inappropriate behavior or requests.
  • Requests for services outside my scope of practice.
  • Unwillingness to follow the above policies.
  • Communicable illness. Example: flu, bacterial infections, ect.

Please note- while this is a rare occurrence, it’s important to be clear. All illegal requests are reported to the local police. We take our profession and our ethics seriously and request that our clients do as well.
